CSISD Scholarship Information

Up to two $1000 scholarships are awarded each year to China Spring High School Seniors.

Requirements for consideration:

• --Must be a senior at CS High School and a member of the PTA by March 30th of the year graduating.
• --Must have a minumum GPA of 2.5
• --Application must be turned in to the Counseling Center by April 15.

Application Packet Requirements:

1. Application complete with Student Organizations, Extra-Curricular Activities and Community Involvement areas filled out if applicable.
2. An essay written by the applicant stating how this scholarship will benefit him/her including any additional information wished to be considered in our decision. For example: exceptional hardships, setback or personal experience that has shaped your abilities or academic credentials; personal responsibilities, exceptional achievements or special talents; educational goal and choice of majors.
3. Three letters of recommendation.
4. High School transcript from the current year including ACT/SAT scores.

Scholarship Recipient Requirements:

• Must complete first full semester at college with a GPA of at least 2.5
• Must turn in college transcript and PTA scholarship certificate with information filled in on the back to PTA scholarship chairperson listed on the certificate.
